To all the boys I've loved before review

⭐⭐⭐⭐

Are you a read the book before watching the series or watch series and get interested in reading the book?

I'm a little of both but for this one I watch them first (less likely to get disappointed). The book was ok, had a nice flow and everything, however I felt like the characters in the series were better.

Hear me out in this one

Chris in the book was awful, like you know you have this friend you're always there for if they need something but never around if you do. Yea that's Chris in the book.  Peter was ok I guess, liked him more in the movie and Margot was not a good big sister in the book. Read to find out.

That being said as usual changes were made for the movie and I just felt like some of the scenes could have been left as is. Like the kiss with PK when the letters got out and they had a cute Halloween scene in the book, that I wish I could have seen and other cute scenes.

So overall 4 stars.

Omg that ending, my heart. There were so many twists and revelations that I couldn't see coming. I need book 4 like yesterday.

From the first chapter I knew it was going to be another 5 star read. Isabelle's writing just absorbs into her books no matter the length ( this one is longer than Queen and Conqueror and so worth it.) I love hearing about pregnant  Almira and Alton. They're the perfect definition of married life and I just love it.

This book is more focused on Hira, Almira's cousin and she is just as fiery as Almira in her own way. This book is a lot about Hira coming to terms with being the Lady of Istok and finding that she always possessed the skills to protect her people and what's better than a lady that actually has swordsmanship and can handle herself in a pirate battle.

You read that right. There are pirates, dragons, witches, romance, everything you loved in Queen and Conqueror and more.
Omg Hira has gone through so much growth since we met her in Queen and Conqueror. I love that she realized how strong she is and why everyone saw her fit.

⭐⭐⭐⭐. 5/ 5

Boy oh boy the twists in this one and steam in this one. You won't see it coming, it's so good, made me have even more of a soft spot for Arrik. Brindi did such an amazing job on this one. If you weren't already in love with Arrik by the end of Granted you will definitely be by the end of this one. Beckham is still the monster we all love to hate. Vel just gets a whole lot more powerful and  it's 🥵🥵🥵.

Ummm...... 0.5 was removed because I couldn't deal with

Absolutely  loved it. After hearing so much about Almira's mother in Queen and Conqueror, I was really excited to read these novellas. Gave so much insight into Beltran's past and we also got to meet Almira's mother, who is just as beautiful as everyone said she was.

We learn about her abusive past and what she wanted for children with Beltran. We also got to see a little of her relationship with Hester.

Here are my favourite quotes from Lamya:

“Let him be undone. Let him want me to desperation. I’d rather live the rest of my life with his head between my legs than one more moment with you.”

“If I have a daughter,”

“I want her to be bold. I want her to state her mind without fear of repercussion. I want her to make men tremble."

Now we know where Almira gets her strength and smart mouth from

I'm really happy that Beltran was able to grant her wish. We also got to see why Hira left Istok and I loved it and now as I begin reading Lady of Istok (book 2). I'm so happy I didn't skip these novellas.

"Through the darkest night. "

From the very first chapter I could tell this was going to be a good book and SC grayson does not disappoint. There's just something about historical fiction that I love. Reading this book I was instantly transported to when I read Tombquest: Book of the Dead as a lot of this book happens in a museum. I loved learning about Nora and her love for weaponry and her sister Odelle, who doesn't let her disability hinder her from having a good time.

But that twist, kind of expected, kind of not but I knew this guy was up to something. Have you ever had an ex that you remained friends with? No, me neither. But Drew is just the sweetest, always worrying about Nora. Then again he is a doctor. Adam, I can't get enough of Adam's and Nora's relationship and you're just going to have to read to find out.

ARC reviee

To say this book was a rollercoaster is an understatement. I'm so happy there's a second book because there's a lot going on and a lot happened in those last 5  chapters. I really liked the magic system of this book, it kind of encompasses all things fantasy. You have dragons, you have fae, you have necromancers, something called deathbringers  and so much more. Idk about you all but books with dragons sign me up.

The love, the betrayal, adopted children rep, disabled but not letting that disability define you rep. There's a lot going on in this series and you really don't want to miss out on it.

ARC Review

I am not okay. That ending, I cannot my heart hurts  now I have to wait for ascend. this book was just a perfect sequel. Scale picks up right where Descend ended, with the return of the Revered.

An assassin being afraid of being used again. A young girl afraid of becoming a monster. This book takes you on a journey as Aislin and Kyleigh try to figure out their newfound powers in hopes of defeating the Enchantress. Sloane, if you weren't already in love with her in Descend, you will be by the end of Scale. This gorgeous knight 🥵. That's all I'm saying you'll have to read to find out.  I can't wait for Ascend.

ARC Review

"I would one day be a queen... I just had to become a monster first. "

Where do I begin. This book is a fast paced why choose romance done by the amazing duo of Chloe Hodge and Rebecca Camm. The prose flows so seamlessly that you won't even realize there's more than one person writing. The chapters are short so you get swept up into the story quickly and it has multiple points of view.

This book was so good I honestly couldn't stop laughing. The characters are so much fun especially Zane. That scene with Kayden is just too funny and I always laugh when I think about it. Fallon is badass and I love her. I love that she stood up to her horrible sister, but this girl's family is seriously messed up, well mostly her parents and Victoria. I loved her friendship with Zane and Kendra. Now Kendra is just the best friend any girl could need and Fallon definitely needed one. They're a dynamic duo and I just love how they look out for each other.

This is book is just too good and I can't wait for book 2.

ARC Review

OMG this book. I loved it from the very first page. This entire series has just been perfection and I couldn't get enough of it. Nora is just absolutely badass, I did not see that twist coming. It was so good and that ultimate Avengers moment, yesssss
Absolutely loved it.

I love that Nora finally opened up to Rafe. I love that she finally understood him and why he did what he did. I love that he loved her even for all her mess. Nora's chaotic energy is so contagious, you just  can't help but love her. I'm so happy she got the family she deserved. Absolutely adore this series and will be thinking about it forever.

This series is so good you will love everything and did I mention that Jessa's series follows after this. I'm so excited.

This was an ARC from the author.

This was a good book. The prologue was really interesting as we have gods depending on someone's life to free them and who else could they be depending on but our girl Dex, who now has a target on her back. Going into this book I had a feeling twists were coming and boy did they. I did figure out one of those twists buy umm that other one , it's a doozy.

I think I just found my new favourite opening line.

"If you're going to kill someone, try to do it tidily. You just ruined my new dress. "

If this doesn't make you love Dex from the get go. Then her witty banter and sharp tongue with Gideon will.

I really enjoyed seeing Dex kind of break apart Gideon's shell. I loved seeing how he went from hating Dex and wanting to be free of her to doing anything to protect her, his little elf. And who doesn't want a man attuned to our emotions. I really look forward to the next book because that cliff hanger was just crazy

Overall it's a good book that you don't want to miss.
