Delightfully surprised by how much I really loved this one and can’t wait to pick up the second volume. While I feel like some people may not like how much art lessons/theory are included in this story I found it to be very interesting as someone who knows next to nothing about art. (I really love the art teacher too btw!!!)

It was also really easy to get invested in the story of seeing Yatora finally discover a passion in his life and throw himself headfirst into it.

Since I've reached the end of this series, I figured I'd just put my overall thoughts here.

- This is a 5/5 shojo for me and I am holding out hope for a print release someday so I need everyone to read it and rave about it with me please. :) I mean come on, it's a romance between a boy whose family owns a flower shop he helps out in and a girl who is the sole member of the garden club and doesn't have many friends due to classmates being intimidated by her - not due to her being scary but because she is so pretty and good at everything. Both have Golden Retriever energy!!!! SO CUTE. And one of them makes the other a bookmark with pressed flowers in the first volume!!!!! Still the cutest thing to me.

- Akira and Ran are the sweetest couple and I love that there were only minor disruptions for them throughout this story making it all the more focused on them navigating what seems to be their first romantic relationship. And while it took them AGES it felt like to kiss (lol) I love we got to a point they were discussing taking the physical part of their relationship further together and how realistic these moments were.

- This series is just so cute it makes me sick. I thought I'd be sad to see it end, and I am, however, Ammitsu really nailed the ending of this so I'm feeling satisfied. We don't get a big jump to the future at the end but honestly, I prefer it that way and being able to imagine myself where they would be in a few years time.

So yeah, read this if you're looking for a super sweet shojo featuring THE most wholesome characters and lots and lots of flowers. It has made its slot as one of my favorite shojo series to date.

A heartfelt story about grief, imagination and growing up that feels all too brief. I absolutely adored the relationship between Dylan and his grandfather and only wish to have gotten more of their mischievous adventures. Very much gave me a bit of My Grandmother Asked Me To Tell You I’m Sorry vibes - even though I never finished reading that book. Oop.

A super short queer romance about a witch and a werewolf. We follow Suzy and Jada after they meet online and their 3 dates to follow - each complete with supernatural disturbances they take on together which include a lake monster, skeletons an ex-girlfriend raised from the dead and more.

This was a fun, quick read perfect for this time of year but probably won’t be memorable for me. I enjoyed the art and characters of this story but the humor was a bit of a miss for me.
