I thoroughly enjoyed the first two
books in the trilogy! But this book
gave me pause and doubted myself
to complete it or not;(This is not
the Pip I came to know, and I
never expected Pip to be
portrayed as a drug addict.Pip's
actions in this book were just
frustrating & stupid, then at the
end she just cuts everyone off!lNo more new investigation
happens, and the plot of Pip and
Ravi is completely devastated.

From the first few chapters , I
was completely captivated by the
story and the character
development of Achilles and
Patroclus. The story is very much
detailed into Greek mythology and
sometimes the thing is unclear
too.. But overall the plot is
beautifully written. The story capturing every moment of friendship, grief,
hope,trust,love and trauma. The
bond between A and P is soooThe Troy war is heart wrenching!! Litle bit hard to put down.

A mystery so light it barely qualifies as a mystery in genre. I kept waiting for more from the thin plot and weak characters but was left disappointed.
A fine and marketable premise is poorly executed. Not a single likable character throughout the entire book. The plot and storytelling were uninspiring and dull. The ending was lazy and undid practically everything we learned about the main character.

If you decided to start this series,
do not start with this oneee
The whole book is about a murder
mystery party and nothing more
The rest of the book series is soo
goodd and we live with the
Characters.
I don't know why this book is needed ..so disappointing

This is poignant, rattling and powerful to provoke the importance of the moment you are living right now.Being young, he never imagined that one day he would be a patient himself. He stared at a CT scan; lungs with innumerable tumours, deformed spine, full lobe of liver obliterated. Cancer, widely disseminated. Except, this was not his patient's scan, it was his. Paul was diagnosed with stage IV lung cancer in 2013.

He questioned many things; what makes life worth living in the imminent prospect of death, what makes a virtuous and meaningful life, what do you do when there is no future to plan for but only the present to live in.

When he heard he contracted cancer, he and his wife Lucy went through IVF to conceive a baby. He pondered about what it meant to have a child when his life was fading away.

The last chapter written by his wife quickly made me burst into tears as I could feel the tragedy of death that Paul faced like I was there in his room at the hospital. When Paul decided to take off the mask and the monitor to be administered with morphine and slowly slipped into death, “Paul inhaled and then released one last, deep, final breath.🥺😭😭
