SCREAMING INSIDE AS THE PLOT UNFOLDED!!!1!1 This book has everything- wondrous and yet, sensible world-building and the mechanics of magic/superpowers, crazily intricate plot, and the characters themselves- omfg omfg omfg out of all the things that this book deserves praise for, I LOVED the characters the most. Unfortunate that I had put off reading this book for such a long time, but also extremely fortunate that I got to experience it for the first time now.

Did not finish book. Stopped at 72%.
I expected a lot more continuity and more in-depth character and story development. But there is none of that because the author tried to shove so much information down my throat that the book reads like a wikipedia entry. Extremely disappointed.

This one made up for the slowness of the previous two. I can't believe that this book made me sympathize with Luke after I was calling for his head at the end of every single past book. Great character development and a great finale to tie everything together.

Felt like the series slowed down in the labyrinth. I'm getting less fond of the writing the more I read.
