The beginning was a bit slow but I really liked how everything came together in the end. It was definitely a fun read for spooky season.

Dit verhaal begon sterk en ik vond het concept erg leuk, alleen het verhaal zakte al vrij snel in. Het was niet per se saai, maar het was ook niet dat ik nou echt per se verder wilde lezen.

This was an enjoyable novella to listen to, the setting was fun too.

The characters were just too stupid and annoying and the plot was way too predictable to be likeable.

This one was hard to get through because the whole plot is based on a miscommunication and I hate that. It was literally so unnecessary too. But the whole concept about trying to save the hotel was nice and most of the guests were lovely.

This one was enjoyable enough, especially since it’s a novella. The ending was also pretty heartwarming.

This one was fun to listen to, but not quite as enjoyable as the first installment.

Not me thinking I had it all figured only for me to be completely wrong. Let’s just say I didn’t see that twist coming. While I flew through it and I didn’t guess the ending, it still felt a bit like a simplistic story.

Ik vond dat het verhaal erg goed in elkaar zat. Dit keer was het ook leuk dat het pas laat duidelijk werd wie de dader was.

This was such an interesting and intriguing read. Most of the twists I didn’t see coming. I’m interested to see what the second book will be like, because I didn’t really think that book three was that special.
