The story started off pretty good and I was curious to find out what was really going on, but the ending was slightly confusing and disappointing.

This was such a fun, and in my opinion, original plot. I can’t wait to read more of this series, it started off really good to say the least.

If I really enjoy a thriller, I just can’t stop reading, but that wasn’t the case with this one. I had a hard time focusing on the story and the ending left me very confused. I can definitely see how that might have been a me thing though.

The plot/story itself was good and the topics that were discussed are so important, it’s such a pity that the writing style wasn’t working for me. It made it hard to actually get through the story and to keep focused. Everything felt very factual, which made it hard for me to really understand the emotions that the characters went through.

This is a very unpopular opinion but  thought this book was low-key boring. The concept is cool, but the execution for sure wasn’t my cup of tea.

This novella didn’t add much, but it was fun to finally have some chapters from Geraldine’s perspective. Even though I have to say that her way of speaking can become a bit annoying.

I wasn’t quite interested in the wedding, but Mae’s current love life, or lack thereof, is definitely interesting. I’m curious to see where this story will go next.
