Ik vond het op zich wel leuk dat dit boek een net wat andere opzet had. Verder vond ik het gewoon een goed boek om naar te luisteren, maar verder niet heel bijzonder. Die kleine twist aan het einde zag ik niet helemaal aankomen dus dat was leuk.

De schrijfstijl is niet per se mijn ding, maar luisteren naar dit boek was dikke prima. Het verhaal zat goed in elkaar en ik was benieuwd naar het einde.

This was an enjoyable summery read. It didn’t quite blow me away though. I also would’ve loved to see a bit more interaction between Caroline and Hollis at some point.

The foster care situation was for sure heart wrenching, but other than that I wasn’t too invested in the story. Listening to it really helped me getting through it.

I did enjoy reading this book but there were definitely scenes in here that disgusted me. A lot of things happened in this book, but I don’t feel like we made any progress at the end of the story. I’m curious about all the books that come next though.

I’ve really enjoyed the dynamics between Winter and Theo, and they were also both so nice in their own way. But for me it was still nothing more than a fun and enjoyable romance read.
