I bought this book completely unsure of what I wanted from it, but just feeling lost in my own chaos. Months later I’m finally reading it and it really helped me prioritize things in my life. While I didn’t know it would be so much about religion, there are so many great lessons and examples that Shauna talks about. I love how she walks us through her struggles and journey. This is a really helpful book, I just wish it was less based on religion. There were some parts I skimmed over because it was a bit to preachy for me.

I really love EL James’s writing! It sucks me in, and I don’t know if it’s because I love this series and so I’ll obviously love it no matter who tells it. I think I like the story told from Christians POV because it is a very different story and it gives the reader a lot more insight into his side of the story. I really enjoyed this book!

I really really enjoyed this book. I thought I knew what the plot twist was going to be but it had a different element to it. I love the writing style and the characters so much. Having been in a relationship slightly similar to this I really connected with Mia and what she was going through.

I read this novel while traveling through China. Nothing too crazy, wasn't that interested in the story.
