I really wanted to love this book, but sadly, it didn’t meet my expectations. I can’t really pinpoint exactly why I didn’t love this book, it has everything I would typically go for such as a queer cast, sapphic romance, fake dating, holiday vibes, and a strong connection to astrology but sadly it just didn’t do it for me.
I found myself getting bored throughout it, I wasn’t really vibing with the writing, and I didn’t really feel a solid connection to the characters or the romance. Majority of this book I did listen to it on scribed and I have noticed that a lot of the books that I listen to the audiobooks versus actually reading, I end up not enjoying them as much as I thought I would so I don’t know if that played a part in my low rating of this book.

Overall, this book wasn’t terrible. I did enjoy reading it and I do plan on continuing the series but this book just wasn’t my favorite.
