The Ethical Slut by Janet W. Hardy and Dossie Easton teaches you the ins and outs of polyamory/non monogamous relationships and is a great introduction into the world of loving freely and outside of society standers!
The Ethical Slut is written in a enjoyable, easy to understand way that will leave you with a better understanding of what polyamory really is and how you may be able to fit it in your life (if you want to).
You can find information on communication, dealing with jealousy, and so many other aspects of relationships that can be helpful for anyone not just polyamorous people within this book.
The Ethical Slut is inclusive of all genders, race, ethnicities, sexualities, and lifestyles and over the years has had three different edition, the content within changing with the times in order to include new idea and terminology that may not have been around when the book was first published in 1997.

After reading this book I fully understand why it's basically the bible of the poly community. It taught me so much about polyamory, relationships, sex, and even my own mind. You can definitely tell that this book was written by a therapist because all of the information given was so well researched and it gives you so much helpful advice when dealing with the struggles brought up in this book and even exercises to try. I'm definitely going to be reading the other works done by these authors!
Honestly I highly recommend this book to anyone, polyamorous or not but specifically to anyone who wants to learn more about polyamory/non monogamous relationships.

An Offer From A Gentleman by Julia Quinn is the third book in the Bridgerton series and is a Cinderella retelling with Benedict as the leading man.

I'm honestly pleasantly surprised by this book, I thought I was going to hate it due to the things I have heard but I quite liked it. I liked our leading lady Sophia and thought her relationship with Benedict was pretty cute. That being said, I'm not gonna say that I don't understand why people dislike this book so much because I completely understand, there are some very valid reasons to dislike this book. Yes Benedict did act like an ass but I honestly found that him asking Sophie to be his mistress didn't bug as much as it did other people. I think the reason for this is because he grows and realizes that what he did was wrong and he shouldn't have asked her to be his mistress and when she said no, he should have left it at that and not continued to push.
The thing that got on my nerves the most about Benedict was the fact that he refused to see anything from Sophie's point of view. He refused to try and understand why she couldn't possibly agree to be his mistress and why that might not be something she wants in life instead he just took it as a hit to his ego. He did the same thing when it came to her not revealing her identity to him, he refused to see it from her point of view and instead just got mad at her.
That being said, I really liked Benedict which I honestly surprised I totally thought I was gonna hate him, in reality, I actually think his my favorite Bridgerton brother (Colin being my favorite). I found him to be so funny and to have a lot more personality than Anthony did. I also love how cocky he is, I was in fits of giggles every time Sophie mentioned his little cocky smirk. Can I also just say that they cast him perfectly in the tv show?

I loved that we got to see more of Violet Bridgerton in this book! I absolutely adore her, she is so kind but also so witty and very much like her kids. I loved seeing her relationship with Sophia and I loved how much she cared about her.

Overall, I think this is my favorite book in the series so far, Sophie has become my favorite leading lady and I am very surprised with how much I enjoyed this book.

This is by far my favorite book by Stephanie Garber! The characters, the world, the romance, and the banter were all *chefs kiss*. It was such an improvement to Once Upon a Broken Heart and honestly, I'm kinda shocked at how much I loved this book.
Evangeline and Jacks have to be my favorite relationship from her books! I love them with my whole heart.
The ending of this book was amazing, it made me bawl my eyes out but it was so good.
I'm gonna go read the next and final book now and probably cry because it's over.

I decided to give this book a reread in hopes that it would get me out of a reading slump and it did. I enjoyed this book more the second time around than I did when I first read it.

This book could have been combined with the first one. That being said, I did enjoy this book a little more than I did the first one.

Addicted to You by Krista and Becca Ritchie is the first book in the Addicted/Calloway Sisters Series. Lily Calloway is addicted to sex and her best friend Loren Hale is addicted to alcohol. In order to hide their addictions from their families, Lily and Loren have been in a fake relationship for the last three years but what happens when they decide they no longer want their relationship to be fake? Are either of them willing to fight their addictions in order to give their relationship a real shot?

This series has been on my TBR for a long time and I finally decided to pick it up in hopes that it would get me out of my dreaded reading slump.
On the plus side it did sorta get me out of my reading slump, I was able to read this book in just a couple of days. On the downside, I was a little underwhelmed by this book.

First, let's talk about the things I liked. I really enjoyed the characters and found that I related to Lily a little more than I would have liked. I absolutely loved Lo despite the fact that he could be a real asshole. I was really rooting for these two characters and desperately wanted them to work through their shit and be happy together.
I have seen a lot of people say that Lily and Lo’s relationship was toxic and I agree but I think that was the point. The only way they were going to get help for their addictions was if they hit rock bottom together and realized that they were hurting the one person they cared the most about.

Now the things that I disliked. I felt like this book moved really fast especially when it came to Lily and Lo’s relationship. In the beginning, I wasn't feeling a lot of chemistry between the two of them and I wish we had got to see a little bit more pining between the both of them.
I also felt like not a lot happened throughout this book. There seemed to be a lot more filler than actual plot points.
I was told that this book was pretty spicy so I was I was disappointed to find out that the majority of the scenes are fade to black and the ones that aren't are vague and have little detail. Ultimately this comment has more to do with me getting the wrong information rather than the book itself but I do hope it changes in the later books.

Overall, I really liked the characters and romance in this book. I like that it deals with some hard topics that you don't see talked about all that often. I  enjoyed this book enough to continue with the series.

A great introduction to witchcraft! Definitely one of the main books I would recommend to new witches! It is very easy to understand and really goes over almost all of the basics and it's a cheap price on amazon!  Also added points for talking about cultural appropriation! Highly recommend!
