What I love about Naomi's books is that her characters always feel so real and authentic. They are not perfect. They are messy and they have back stories and they screw up. This story was no exception. The tension in this book was top-notch. After a one-night stand a year ago, Connie and Huxley are reunited through their family and friends, but do their very best to avoid one another. That doesn't last for long when the two end up working together in a run-down theatre that Connie purchased. I love their banter and all the small moments written in to this story. Their journey felt authentic and earned and I loved every second of it. I'm looking forward to spending more time in Marsford Bay.
