Honestly I’m speechless after this read. A fantastic fantasy read about a war college for dragon riders. I held my breath during their trials, I screamed in anguish along side the riders, I cheered at their victories, and I was left breathless at the cliffhanger ending. Can not wait for the next book in November. I love you so  I’m telling you to read this book to be carried away by this author.

This story took me in and I forgot I was reading. The words formed an incredible story in my imagination and I couldn’t put this book down.

Circe who craved and took whatever anyone offered in the slightest. Growing into a feminine God so strong and self assured. It’s was incredible to be able to relate to her story and watch her find herself and love herself. To see the fierce love she had for her son and the love she was able to have at the end.

This book was captivating from start to finish. It says horror. It’s a horror book but it doesnt feel scary at all. It just feels like grief. The horrors of grief.

This book tore me apart which was the point I’m sure. My heart breaks for the main character Michael for everything that happened to him. He never deserved to be kidnapped and to have that life. My heart breaks for everything that he also let happen to him by doing what he was told and not listening to within. He was victim as much of any of them. He could have save himself, sister, Alice if he would have listened to himself sooner.
