I was really looking forward to this book, but truthfully I found myself a bit bored with it. I can see why others like it, and Jones is undeniably a talented writer, however his style just isn’t the kind that I regularly enjoy. I found the majority of the story to be predictable, after the first major event I knew, at least broadly, what was going to happen next, and I found the last section to be extremely anticlimactic.
