This book was medium paced. There was a lot going on yet I wasn't drawn into the story the way I was expecting to be. I was not surprised by the ending but I couldn't figure it out exactly either. I had one part but not the other. I see there's a second book in this series. I didn't like the main character enough to see what else she has in store. I think I'll end things here.
