Found this book randomly through my storygraph recommendations and I was absolutely floored! I’d happily read a full length story for each of the stories in this book.

Some of the stories did feel a little unfinished when they ended. I feel like all of them could have used a little more closure.

As a long time Star Trek TNG fan, this was such a treat! I admittedly didn’t know much about Patrick Stewart outside of Trek, and this was so fun to listen to. Love that it was read by the man himself too!

So glad I came back to this book! Truly horrifying and gruesome at times. The ending felt a little rushed and was a little too open-ended for my taste (I had the same issue with Hell Followed With Us). I related so much to Silas’ autism and his expression of it that it was almost uncanny.

Can’t wait to read Andrew Joseph White’s next book!

Actually picked this book from my Storygraph recommendations and really enjoyed it! Interesting historical fiction based on Barbara McClintock, who I’d never heard of before reading this book.

Super interesting book! I wasn’t into the first half but I’m glad I kept reading. The last half really brought me in and I felt the cynicism come to a head. It’s fascinating that a book written about a war almost 80 years ago is still relevant today.

I feel like I would have eaten this up in high school, but as a college grad it’s just not hitting. Not for me and that’s okay!
