This one was weird. My only takeaway from this is that adults too make up stuff of wonderlands, and not just for the sake of their kids. For in every one, the inner child is never lost.

The back and forth switching between past and present put me off a bit. I get the intent of trying to tell a story from two points in time and converge them for a big finish but it did not feel to me that that aspect was written particularly well.
But, it was nice to read the behind-the-scenes of cricketers, and contrary to all the fandom, they’re just regular people at the end of the day wanting to make a living and live a normal life, which invariably comes with a lot of ups and downs. And the mental health aspect was honed in a lot which makes a lot of sense. At the professional level, that definitely feels (speaking as a spectator) to be a big differentiator.
