The Handmaid's Tale by Margaret Atwood

it could have been much more better. it has all d scope, situation. but all I felt was poor choice of literature , poor narration ruined it all. even if it is just pages of some handmaid's diary it failed to arrange them in a meaningful direction. even if it tries to narrate a particular lifestyle of some typical place it fails portraying the picture.

I don't understand why people hate Chetan Bhagat this much. What's the point? I guess he made it very clear (after his 3rd book??) That he's going to pen down these kind of stories. these are light reads and good too in it's own way. I personally like it. I won't dig deep in his literature, grammar, contents and all. I started reading it while waiting for my flight and I had a good time with it. He narrated a simple girl's bigger issues with a simple solution.
If you are looking for a light read go for it girl. You will like it.

It's really a nice composition to remind us to always look at the brighter prettier side of life. It potrays all the characters like Meenakshi, sita, lakshmana even the little chandalini's so well that they almost felt real. I have read many but neelakantan's mythology in light of reality is the best
The Wedding Tamasha by Sudha Nair

It's a good one time read. The opening specially is interesting. It certainly has it's flavors of typical Bollywood movie but still it's good. Untill Sweta met Niru again at the wedding. I felt the ending should be something more. The author somehow looses her grip towards the end. Even she was confused about Neha and Mohan too. I felt in the beginning she wanted Mohan too to b a bad guy, then she wanted to potray Neha as an insecure person; but in the end Voila!! Both are great. The characters doesn't seem to behave like themselves as the story was approaching near the end.
Still I loved it. I believe like me many others will overlook the little mismatches or grammatical errors.
What I love the most is it's acknowledgement part. ( Yes I do read that too). An extra 🌟 just for your acknowledgement .
