At this point, just inject anything Abby Jimenez writes into my veins. She has the most perfect combination of banter, chemistry, diverse characters, representation of chronic illness and mental health, and character development. I loved the uterine fibroids rep in this book!

This was fine - definitely one of Megan Miranda's earlier and therefore less amazing works. The story was a little confusing and didn't 100% grip me the way that others of hers do, but as always, her geographical setting and vibes were great. Did what I needed it to do as a thriller but kinda forgettable.

Great writing and characters as always with this author. However, I still struggle with the premise and what the book did. I understand the author's point of writing this story from the POV of the female victims and the women who were affected by this killer. There was a lot of condemnation of the killer's actions and he was never named by name, but ultimately I still struggle with the fact that for a book that aims to de-glorify Ted Bundy, it still fits into the narrative that glorified his actions.
