Overall I enjoyed this. While I love the movie, I do think this is better but I think I would have enjoyed it more if I'd read a physical or digital copy

I didn't necessarily dislike this book but I didn't like it enough for a whole 3 star rating. I liked the ideas but the execution was...not the best. I found the pacing to be a bit weird. I think it may have been a bit better if the story was a bit longer. I also didn't love the weird supernatural elements. They felt clumsy and tossed in. I overall enjoyed the story but I think it could have been so much better.

I haven't read this book in 10 years and forgot how wild it was. I can't wait to read the rest

This was a short, fun little read
The Consumer by Michael Gira

Did not finish book. Stopped at 25%.
To preface, I know of Michael Gira. I know of Swans. I know the purpose of this book was to be gross and disturbing or whatever. It's art or something. I get it. I love extreme horror and splatterpunk. Dead Inside by Chandler Morrison is one of my favorite books. But this didn't feel like it was fulfilling it's purpose or whatever. It was poorly written and just felt like something and edgelord would put out. Dare I say the writing style felt a little bland. I may try this again in the future but as of right now I see no point in trying to continue.

This was a fun little book. I don't know if I'd read it again but I wouldn't mind reading more by the author
