This book was definitely interesting. However, it was very repetitive and wordy. The amount of times he talked about getting drunk and high were 3 quarters of the book. Like I said, interesting, just wordy and repetitive. I do love how much he loves his wife and kids, though.

Did not finish book. Stopped at 10%.
The book just wasn't capturing my attention. I didn't get very far but I was getting bored and the writing style just isn't for me.

I could tell this was written by a newer author by the writing style as well as a couple grammar mistakes but overall I enjoyed this little story. It was a fun time

If you actually decide to read this book, rather than skim through it, you'll find a great story and a good villain with a tragic backstory. While I didn't particularly find any romance in this book, I love a good slow burn and I'm excited to see what's in store for book 2. While there is a lot of graphic SA and Violence with accompanying illustrations, if you can handle all that, this is absolutely worth the read.
