Originally I was going to give this 4 stars, but the ending really caught me off guard! I loved how parts of the first book weaved through this one while it also still stood apart as it’s own mystery. I cannot wait to get my hands on the third book!

This book started off in a weird way, and I wasn’t sure I was going to like it based on the initial vibes. I ended up enjoying it a lot though once it finally picked up and things started moving!

This. Book. Was. So. Good! Oh my gosh! There were so many twists and turns, and I would think I knew where things were going but then something ELSE would happen that would totally throw me off! The ending was super believable too which I liked. I cannot wait to read the next one!

This book was tough, and every time it seemed like things were getting slightly better I was proved wrong. I enjoyed that this wasn’t a sugar coated version of what this journey is like though, and I enjoyed the different perspectives of the characters. But man did this one hurt.

LOVED this book! Such a mix of supporting essays for anyone who finds themselves under the fat spectrum!

wish this book was written differently. I think this could be so interesting to read a book from Sharon Robinson’s perspective of this time period, but I think it needs to be purely non-fiction. The way this book is written makes it feel not authentic, and like an adult is trying their hardest to sound like a child. There was also A LOT in here about her horse which felt unnecessary haha

VRC #9! This one was incredibly difficult to read. It was raw and emotional. Genesis goes through so much for someone so young, and at times it felt like too much to take it. But this is one of my favorite reads so far this year!

I enjoyed this, it was cute and quirky if not predictable. As someone who also struggles with anxiety though, I wish that Evie could’ve had some separation of her healing away from Caleb. I think she does this occasionally in the book, but a lot of the time he is the knight in shining armor.

I was really disappointed with this one. I was so confused at the sudden changes in what was happening it felt like whiplash at some points. Maybe some of the problem was me not knowing the myths behind the story? But I had higher hopes for this one.  This was VRC #8

This book was wild in many different ways. It had such a gossip girl vibe to it that I enjoyed, and the audiobook narrator was really playing that up! But sometimes the characters and situations were so absolutely ridiculous that I wasn’t to smash my head into something 😂 maybe it’s things that I’m missing from it’s source material? I’m not sure. But overall I enjoyed being brought back to that gossip girl feeling that I’ve missed!
