When your mother is your biggest opp. I’m glad Tita and Pedro got their happy ending together.

This was much better than I was expecting, but I’ve found that I love Holly Bourne’s works. She is great at writing about the universal woman experience. It’s crazy how when you see something written out you realize how much you relate to it and that you aren’t alone. I’m gonna have to read more of her because it’s just nice to be noticed.

I felt bad for Harold because his family kind of sucks. It’s to be expected from his teenagers but yikes. Then his wife, as well meaning as she was she also made huge mistakes. Besides those character flaws it was okay but there was unanswered questions that were never resolved.

I was getting really into it and then it just ended. She could make this a full novel and I would be so excited to read it.

I tried but it was all over the place, more so than the first one. I kind of soft DNF’d like I started skimming just to get a gist of what was going on.

I really wanted to like it but there were a few situations that were glossed over or made fun of that I just couldn’t get behind, it really just made me cringe. I also think an editor would have been beneficial because it felt entirely too long with not a lot happening.

Very cute! Younger me would’ve loved this.
