Uzumaki: Spiral Into Horror, Vol. 3 by Junji Ito

Go to review page

challenging dark mysterious tense fast-paced
  • Plot- or character-driven? A mix
I'm scared I'm unwell and I'm lowkey scared of spirals.
The lost chapter didn't bring the same fear factor but 'the completion' as the ultimate finale made up for that.
it's going to absolutely haunt me that we never know the origin of the spiral. And the snail people will haunt me too because why would Junji Ito do that?????

I wasn’t loving this this, it was feeling a bit misogynistic when I wrote it and maybe if I come back to it I might feel different

I was not it the mood to read it when I started it and I should have stuck to that and started it on a fresh space. I was in a bit of a reading slump to see it through
