Had high hopes for this book but felt like it was not as advertised. Found it somewhat odd the author was oblivious to both her son and husband's suffering and also that she'd never heard of a lightbox before. The wolf chapter was weird. Found the narrative all over the place. Was fine to listen to for passing the time.

Read this in 2 days. Didn't want it to end. It helps that I'd been to Berlin in the past year and recognized many of the places. Lovely little book.

I look to Rocco for Italian food so was surprised to see a lot of other cuisine types, especially all of the crudo. Some things I'll try and others I'll skip.
