Fujimoto what if i chopped you up into little bits would you approve? Just asking because you're sick and twisted in the head for this volume. I cannot stand to see Denji suffer anymore man hasn't he had enough????

Another soul destroying volume thanks Fujimoto! Really excellent payoff from the previous volume, seeing baby Denji and Pochita always breaks me and again that main question of "what do you want to do now?" is brought up. Denji feeling like the only power/good thing he has in his life is being Chainsaw Man is so sad :( and the house :( meowy :( he's lost every single bit of his family man (because he chose being Chainsaw Man over Nyuata)

What the actual fuck is going on seriously. Watching Denji get manipulated AGAIN is so fucking gut wrenching and him imagining standing up for himself is so sad man. Fuck the Chainsaw Man church though what the actual fuck is wrong w them. Glad we're focusing more on Denji now, i'll admit I like his arc of wondering if a normal life is really what he wants.

Parallels between Denji and Asa are always good, this world is so sad man- I like that she's basically anti-denji in a way. The Chainsaw Man Church is interesting and the falling devil fight was really good!

Man this is so good, I love Asa so much and find her so relatable. Seeing Nyuta and a little more of Denji's home life/how he's trying to live after part 1 is so good, he's trying so hard not to be good but to live well :(. Great set up for the next arcs, can't wait to see what Fami gets up too and this whole prophecy. (Also the starfish convo has to be about how Chainsaw Man consumes Devil's right?)

This was incredible- Butler has such a way of making you care about characters and then pulling the most gut wrenching shit you've ever heard immediately afterwards. I love how she paints this version of America, it feels like a living thing and it was so interesting. Loved Lauren, can't wait to continue.

What a weird ass, enjoyable ride. Dexter is an insane POV to read through, very lyrical and weirdly funny. Side character were good and i'm excited to see where Deb and Doakes go in the books. Will say the plot was just ok, I do hope we see more Brian in the future.

This is most certainly a book I read! It starts so strong and then after the 30% mark or so just flaps about like a dying fish until it ends- I felt as though the book fired the gun too quick (pun intended) when if paced better this could have been truly excellent.

I liked Maggie and Wes well enough as well as their dynamic even if elements of it annoyed me at points (I hate when authors just throw another person in there so one half of the duo can be jealous, just takes away from what the main element of the book is supposed to be.) However I will say I found them a little repetitive at times?

World building was great however as well as the proses.

Man, this was a rollercoaster- Jennette is a fantastic writer and I hope sincerely that she enjoyed the process of writing this book and would want to have a full career in it, what a talent! Sad and intense, this really is so effective at painting what her life/career was like, as well as how her mother puppeteered her whole life.
