I enjoyed the audiobook narration of this story. While I did enjoy this book overall, I was left feeling disappointed with how it ended and with the plot twist. While it wasn't predictable, I did feel it could have been better.

I am not sure if I would recommend this book or not. I did not ever feel connected to the characters, and I don't know how much it would have captured my attention without the audiobook to help keep me hooked. I absolutely missed piecing together everything, but I feel that the trail was definitely there.

I would say if you are into psych ward, therapist, psychological thrillers, it may be worth it to give this book a try.

I enjoyed this thriller very much. The audiobook narration was really good, too. I would recommend that if you listen to this one , you also have the physical or e-book to supplement. They included artwork for all the little boys' pictures he draws throughout the story, which are wonderfully done and definitely boost the reading experience.

I was not expecting the ending at all. It was definitely a shocking twist, and I thought it was well done. I had fun trying to piece together everything along the way. Was absolutely way off the mark from my predictions. Overall, I think this was a fun journey to experience and would recommend.

Yet again, Rebekah has written another amazing edition to this FANTASTIC series. We're taken through so much throughout book 2, and I'm still trying to unravel all my feelings. The world building is phenomenal! I wish I could just live there. This book takes you through more backstory and secrets I never saw coming. I can't wait for the next book, and this one will sit in my head until then. My Roman Empire series.

The absolute heartbreak this book put me through. I finished this novella in 1 sitting, and I don't regret it one bit. You absolutely should read this after book 1 and before book 2 for the best reading experience. The way Rebekah has gone through setting this series up and the story she brings you on is worth every single minute of reading.

To say I am obsessed with this book would be an understatement. The storyline kept me fully focused and wanting to know what was happening next. The characters were easily loved and connected with. This book easily put this series into my top favorites of all time.

Great start to a magnificent journey

I don't have much to say without spoiling the whole series. This was a reread for me and I will always recommend one piece!

This wasn't particularly my type of horror. However I did think it was well written and I definitely wasn't expecting the end. One of those endings when you aren't sure what you just read. (In a good way)

I did feel like certain parts felt more dragged on then they needed to be and I never really had the creepy scared feeling I like when reading horror. I will say though that I definitely think this book could give people that feeling if you find the situation the characters were in scary.

Overall I give this was 3.5 stars and while it wasn't for me I would recommend others to give it a try because it could definitely be for you!
