I enjoyed this one, it's a really nice, easy read. It did feel like it was taking a long time before we saw any form of plot come into play, this very much felt like a world and character set up kind of book. Once we started to see the plot play out, it left me intrigued to see what would happen. The ending has been left quite open and could go in any direction, which I am interested to see play out. Will definitely be checking out the rest of the series, as I'm intrigued to see where our characters go.

I've really enjoyed this one and found this to be the perfect cosy reading for winter. I loved the characters and how even though this is a short, fast paced book, we still get so much depth from them and their bond really shines through. I really loved their story and watching all the little moments play out. Definitely recommend if you want a nice cosy, seasonal read.

I couldn't find a fault with this book, I have absolutely loved it and just flown through it, before I even knew it I was at the end and still wanting more. I adored these characters and the bond that they built, Carter is the biggest golden retriever going, that man had me laughing and smiling just as much as Olivia, he is so unbelievable gone for her from the moment he see's her and we just get to watch him become this more romantically assured bloke. Olivia is just the sweetest but most fierce woman and the way she fights back at the end because she just knows Carter and their relationship was perfectly done. I was so completely emotional at the end with them and they were saying all the right words. I'm so happy with their ending and can't wait to check out the rest of this series and dive deeper into more of these characters.

I enjoyed this one but I don't have too much to say. It's a nice, quick, easy read, that I can recommend. The story and the characters were interesting, with some intriguing points.

I really enjoyed this one and loved diving back into the world. I was listening to the audiobook for this one, which is why it took me longer to read because I was only listening to the odd bit here and there. If I was to take into account the dragging of the book out, I would probably give it a 3.75 but it then wouldn't be a true reflection on my thoughts of the book. I enjoyed the story and the characters, as well as getting to meet some of them at a younger age and learn their history and the history of events that lead up to The Priory of the Orange Tree. Definitely one I recommend but it is one that you will need to be in the mindset for as it's a very intricate world and there are a lot of little connections between the characters.

I enjoyed this one. It's a quick, easy little novella. There were the odd cringy sentences, that gave me the ick. If you're looking for something short to read during the holiday season, I recommend checking this one out.
