This was definitely a sweet read that was a nice break from my dark romance reads. I enjoyed the low angst and lack of miscommunication trope. I am for sure going to add Luna and Zain's book to my tbr.

Holy moly the plot twist!!!! I was not expecting this book to end on a cliffhanger. I also was planning on giving this book a 4-star review but WOW. For erotica, this was a pretty well written book. You do have some of the cheesiness and "instalove" because it is such a short book. However, the spice was so freaking good. I need more from this author right now!!!

Christmas: A Ghosts of Halloween Bonus Story by Layla Fae

The mouths on these men omggg. This was included after the Ghosts of Halloween novel in KU so I decided to give it a shot. Besides, I love a follow up with characters. The author was correct in saying there is no plot and it's all spice. I didn't mind at all (ofc you have to be in the mood for something like this). Honestly it gave more of an insight on the relationship with the men. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a one-handed read.

This was a fun story. The writing was alright, it gave Wattpad vibes at some points, and the plot might be a little flimsy. However, if you're looking for spice > plot with paranormal characters this book is for you! The plot was enough to keep me interested and the spice is spicyy. This book deals with some dark themes so check the trigger warnings.

Omg omg. I'm not going to lie, I was really unsure about this book. I'm not usually a stalker romance kind of girly. However, the amount of hype this book was getting made me curious. I'm also not usually an audiobook person for fiction books. The narrators were PHENOMENAL. I think I would have enjoyed this book had I read it, but listening to it too my enjoyment to a whole new level.

I appreciated that this book dealt with dark themes, but had humor added in. The banter and sense of humor between the characters was so good. The way they were relatable and actually logical was so refreshing to see. I feel like usually in romance books our characters are not always using logic with their reactions which can lead to avoidable drama. That didn't happen in this book and I loved it so much.

The spice scenes were so well written. I loved how the author talked about all the emotions the characters were feeling during the scenes. I also loved that Ally was a badass all on her own and was a fully capable independent woman.

I know this book is going to live rent free in my head for a long time. I am so sad it's over, but I'm excited for the next book in the series.

This book was a sweet lighthearted read. Red is definitely a cinnamon roll and I enjoyed the spunky side characters.

I had a smile on my face 95% of the time I was reading this book. The plot, the characters, everything was amazing. I didn't go into this book with high hopes since my first Tessa Bailey read was a dnf. I was pleasantly surprised.

The dirty talk was so good, but also the emotional connection between the characters during spicy scenes was evident as well. I appreciated the longer scenes too, I feel like that helped to drive home that connection.

I also loved being able to know the inner monologue of both characters at the same time. I have a preference for first person (albeit not a strong preference), but to be honest, the writing was so good that I didn't even give a second thought to it being written in third person.

I didn't read the first book in this series but I didn't feel like I was missing out on anything by not reading it. Maybe I will go back and read that. I really, really want to dive into Sig and Chloe's story - I will be anxiously awaiting the release date.

I read the first book in this series maybe a year ago or more and I don't know why I waited so long to pick up the second. The depth of the characters, the storytelling, all of it was so good! I love that Calder's kids weren't just around when it was convenient for the storyline and they were actually part of the story itself. The mystery aspect of this one was so good too, it really kept me guessing until the end which I enjoyed! I am for sure going to move the next book higher in my tbr, I am looking forward to reading about Addie and learning about Beckett.
