I have read a lot of witchcraft basics books in my time - it seems like lately all there are in the world, with not a lot out there for people who already know the basics - but this book is one of the best, with an emphasis on how important practice is to any endeavor. This is the book I wish I'd had when I was starting out.

the characters were funny at first, but got increasingly obnoxious. when no characters are enjoyable, the whole book becomes a slog to the point where you are hoping that the murderers succeed.
to everyone who is saying that this book has a diverse cast of characters...it does not. i feel like i am going insane when i see how high the percentage is of readers who are saying this.
