Exit Strategy is probably the my favorite Murderbot Diaries story since All Systems Red. Fun, smart, fast paced, and my favorite side characters so far (aside from ART, who I love and miss).

I did not like this book as much as the first two books of the Murderbot Diaries. But it was very interesting to see Murderbot’s character development between books and where he’s at now. Still very good!

I absolutely adore this book! It is so important! Beautifully written. I felt in some of the later chapters the writing became a smidge more cliche YA in its execution, but otherwise absolutely wonderful!

This book was an absolute delight! Moments here and there that could have been fixed; it felt like there were a couple sentences here and there that were missing but would have helped having for clarity. But this book was pure fun start to finish! One of the reviews on the back compared it to Firefly, the tv show, but I think that’s a bit misleading. It’s much closer to Serenity, the sequel film to Firefly, meets Titan AE and a hint of Treasure Planet. A fun adventure and good mystery with a treasure hunt. I cannot wait for more!

I love Murderbot! A cyborg with social anxiety and a mystery thriller? Sign me up. This was a great, fun read. I will definitely be reading the rest of the Murderbot Diaries.
