B.F.F.: A Memoir of Friendship Lost and Found by Christie Tate
Did not finish book. Stopped at 50%.

DNF @ 50%. i thought this book would be about how to keep friendship in the face of your friends getting married having kids etc but this was more like how to stop putting your male partners over your friends lol. it could get better on i just couldn’t take it anymore

honestly, patricia wants to cuddle is not a book i would typically reach for myself. however, Zando sent me a finished copy (thank you Zando!! 💓💗💖💕🫶🏻) and i just got around to reading it bc it is ~spooky season~ and holy shit i enjoyed it so SO much. Patricia wants to cuddle is a queer, strange, funny, gory horror/satire romp (a lot of descriptors, but this is a unique book!!) that had me laughing out loud and cringing all at once. based on pure enjoyment, this was a 5 for me, i rushed through this and finished it in 2 days. however, i try to save my 5’s for like my absolute favorite books i *know* i will read again, and i don’t know if i can see myself picking this up again HOWEVER i enjoyed it so much and think this is such a good spooky season book that illustrates the exact kind of creative storytelling we need more of!! absolutely loved it!!!
