incredible character building and arc. dynamic, deep and strong women who are all distinct in their different lifestyles and identities. in depth view of addiction and the constant challenges it poses as one becomes sober. <spoilers> not quite on board with the infidelity/adultery. <spoilers> thoroughly enjoyed the other parts of this novel

I would suggest that the author do more research on how to accurately depict mixed race/bipoc characters. There were parts that were eyebrow raising because of it. I did enjoy reading about each relationship Evelyn Hugo had and I was rooting for the final pairing. Interested to see how Netflix will depict it and whether it will be bad (i don't have high hopes for it tbh).
Minor: Physical abuse and Emotional abuse

Giving this 5 stars in the sense I enjoyed writing a paper dissecting the obsession with youth and beauty, however Dorian Gray made me want to punch a wall in the least toxic masculine way possible.
