This is one of those books that will stick with me for a long time. The writing and pacing are very enjoyable as you read the novel and it's amazing what intricate themes/ideas are woven into the text in what feels like a seamless manner. Clarke's writing is fantastic. I appreciated that it felt like the reader and the protagonist, "Piranesi", were figuring things out at the same speed - except for the Other's true nature; however, I feel like that was an intentional decision on Clarke's part. Whether you take Piranesi's experience literally or metaphorically, it works either way. Without spoiling the plot or story, this novel had me think about many things after I finished it, especially relationships, identity, and neurodiversity.

I read this as a physical book and on my Kindle. I quickly listened to an excerpt of the audiobook and I think the chosen narrator works perfectly for this story on many levels.
