The Diviners by Libba Bray
5.0
A little slow going at first, but once you get to know Evie and her unconventional ways, you're hooked. The way the book developed was intriguing and left me never wanting to put it down. Without giving away any juicy details, any time I felt I knew what would happen next, something entirely different would happen! I loved that Libba Bray was able to keep me on my toes and I can't wait to read the next installment.

Wow. This will be a short review because I'm nearly speechless, that's how wonderful this book was. It was real, and bittersweet, it made you think and it made you feel. You became part of this intricate story of survival, love, and war in a way that I've not read before. If anyone is on the fence about reading this book, this is your sign to read it - you will not regret it for a moment.

Good books should always bring tears to your eyes, whether happy or sad. And this book did just that. Can't believe J. R. Ward banged out another amazing BDB book, but she did. The King was well worth the wait.
