It's a very easy to understand guide to gender. It's great! But I already knew all/most of it and so it felt repetitive to me

I Hope We Choose Love: A Trans Girl's Notes from the End of the World by Kai Cheng Thom

I'm finding it hard to put into words why this book is so incredible. It's raw, emotional and honest about the experiences she had as a trans women of colour, critiqued leftist spaces from a leftist lens which needed to be done and is incredibly important. 
This book does so much yet is so short. I read another book by this authour and if there's more I'll be planning to read those too, the authour is incredible, the essays and poetry are powerful and I highly recommend this book

Maybe I'll come back to it but I just couldn't make myself keep reading about this woman's feet! (Obviously I didn't get far lmao)

I loved this collection of stories, I highly recommend it and I can't wait to read more from this authour in the future
