4- I’d recommend this is a short book to friends.
It’s cute and fun, the kind of book I gladly made popcorn to have by my side for the adventure. Just a feel good time, you know? (Yes I remember the murders. That’s part of the charm.)
Also hilarious to me that he called out Deathloop as part of his inspiration.

The pacing of this book is practically perfect, I can’t believe how quickly I tore through 400-something pages.
As is the first book of three it does feel complete enough of a story that I’m happy to wait patiently for a copy of the second one to become available to me.
In the meantime: I’m MORE than happy to fully THROW this book at people and demand they read it if for some wild reason they haven’t already.
