I have a lot of feelings for this book.

Without any spoilers, I can say that it a nice contemporary that feels real on its characters as teens. It is first person narrated, so you are a lot in the MC mind, however that didn't stop me from feeling I was righ there. I didn't felt like a reader, but as a friend that was with them. I think that even if the specific situation of the MC is not like it was for you in your teen years, it is still very relatable.

The angst, the confusion, the thrill, the doubts. Friendship, high school, the future... it feels very relatable. Thanks Alice Oseman for this book.

It is so well written that when Aled's identity as The Creator goes out there, I felt anxious and my stomach was making somersaults. I was worried and anxious and then at the end, I was so worried for his well being that I was Frances. I couldn't stop reading. I needed to know, that he was okay, that their friendship wasn't just over. And his relationship with Daniel; even though I never had something similar, how he discovered his demisexuality talked volumes to me. So thanks for that representation in there!

Collection of short stories from diverse points in the story. It serves as a breather (or filler, depending on your take) from the story. Depending on how much you love the characters is how much you'll enjoy these stories

An immersive read that is perfect for fantasy lovers. The characters are really interesting and morally grey, the world building is subtle but really well done and the magic system is incredibly interesting and complex. I really recommend this book!

This is a stupidly funny story. I love the otome setting, which is kind of unique regarding the isekai genre, and the fact that is a reverse harem works for me. Katarina is really stupid, so depending on the reading she can become quickly dislikeable or not, but for me she works for now. However, the way the prose goes is really similar to a fanfiction (a lot of repetitiveness between her thoughts and the rest) so if that is not your cup of tea, I'd enter this light novel with caution.

I found this entretaining for what the story is, however I felt it was noticeably less credible than the previous two.
Regarding everyone loving Katarina, I have always been okay with it since most of the cast had 7 years to develop their feelings for her, and even Maria have 1 full year too. But with Rufus it was ridiculous. Basically an insta-love and I did not like it.
Also, I know Katarina is Bakarina but it is getting a little ridiculous now.

Still a guilty pleasure, so I'll continue
