it was entertaining and very easy to read, and as the big leia fan that i am it was pretty obvious that i was gonna like this 🙈 but i was left surprised with the addition of evaan and it left me wanting more of her and leia together like pleasee that chemistry is so good to be wasted 🥺

this book was on a mission to make me cry and it succeeded at the very end 😭

this was a lifetime experience like this is definitely going to stay with me forever, it both destroyed and healed me at the same time and that's not something I can easily forget. i also think lin wanyue and li xian are very much at this point two of my favorite fictional characters and couples EVER.

i still have some unanswered questions, but overall this was so. fucking. good that i think i can be forgiving with that.

also when it was revealed at the end that they were soulmates??!?! i was LOSING IT!!! i love them so fucking much 😭😭🥺

this could have been like a 3 stars book if i hadn't big expectations for it 🤷🏽‍♀️

theres was a lot of stuff that i didn't like or it didn't click for me (like eve and faiths relationship going from nothing to everything in light speed, the kids having little to no presence and faiths dialogue feeling so empty just to give some examples) and the bdsm stuff.... yeah that's def not for me i couldn't stop cringing 😭

it wasn't that bad tho i was just expecting more, maybe its also lowkey my fault for reading this before all the other books in the series 😭🤐

felt like i was reading a fanfic almost the entire time especially by how utopic it is 😅 this is not necessarily a bad thing though, its obviously just a feel good book for younger audiences

i think i liked this one even more than delilah green 😭 astrid's character development from the 1st book to this made her so loveable to me and her relationship with jordan is saur cuteee, i seriously can't stop thinking about them.

im looking forward to what's next for the bright falls crew, especially iris 🥰

i think the author did a great job with the setting and making the culture palpable, i could feel like i was there in India throughout all the book. it was fun and very easy to read
