I don’t think athletes are that famous but otherwise the plot wouldn’t make sense I guess.  Carie didn’t feel like a real person idk how to explain it.  I don’t 100% understand the dynamic because she’s like in love with her brother in law which is literally Danny’s brother but she sees his family like her own family but not him I guess.  Idk it was weird I didn’t really like it

I was hooked lol I binged it in 1 day 🤤 Iwan is so … perfect and lemon is ummmmm kinda annoying but same so whatever.   My only issue with it was the dialogue and some of the language like idk how to describe it but they didn’t talk like normal people.  Everything they said felt like they wanted to be quoted or they thought it was sooooo deep 🙄 the whole to the moon thing omg stfu.  Not enough to make me not like the book just felt almost perfect.  I think it’s because they’re millennials 🙈 and I’m ageist

Wow I enjoyed it soooo much more than I thought.  I was going to dock points for the ugly ass cover but I decided not to.  The way Jesse is the perfect man is crazy like I wish he existed in real life.  And I felt so much for Lulu like thinking no one wants you around and always trying so hard to get people to like you 🥹 it was beautiful

This was a random find at the library but it really captivated me omg !!! Why was everyone in her life so shitty like her husband, her ex, and her best friend all sold her out 🧐 I’d invest in a gun at that point! Something I noticed that I think might be a generational thing (me being in my early twenties and these people being in their mid to late forties) is how much they drank omg every conversation she had she would drink wine and no one mentions it.  I thought it’d be more rom com ish but it was pretty serious and intense

Damn… Benedict is an asshole and I hate him lol I wish this gave a more nuanced take on class in the regency era. the way that the conflict is resolved because technically her father is an earl is dumb imo.  I think both of them were in love with the idea of the other person.  Benedict doesn’t know anything about Sophie yet he’s in love or so he says.  When they fight, Sophie is like oh he’s just teasing he won’t really do anything but he literally is violent like he choked out her stepmom and felt so angry at Sophie he had to remove himself because he didn’t know what he’d do.  And on the topic of fighting, why does she feel so comfortable like physically fighting him that is not healthy.  Anyways tv show Benedict, they could never make me hate you 😘

I loved it!!! It’s better than the first book 100% however in comparison with the show … I prefer the characterization of Anthony and Kate on the show 🙈 that’s my truth!  Kate’s thing with being second choice 🥲 that was so sad

That was crazy lmao it was pretty wattpad forward but the guys were sweet and I cried at one point 🙈 I felt like her characterization wasn’t consistent however 👀 I literally binged it even tho it was 500+ pages

I liked it!!! I love that jay got his little family at the end.  The miscommunication was kinda dumb and Zara was kinda an asshole for a lot of it.  I think it’s the best in the series 🤩

Honestly not that bad lmaoooo kinda trite ngl and I think some of the language  wasn’t period typical idk I kept feeling like I was taken out of the immersion.  It was juicier than the first one (I did not read the second because it was boring 🙈)
