really enjoyable even though I didn't get all of the references, which I think makes it even more impressive that it was still a fun read.

I mean it was a fun romance but the descriptions of their sizes were so odd it really put me off. Lucy is 5 feet tall and Josh is 6 foot 5 or something? Why does there need to be a scarily massive difference? very weird very odd but if you can get past that it's a fun read.

reminded me of donna tart's secret history; kind of ominous secluded elite education aesthetic but with a more sci fi twist. definitely an interesting concept although I kind of wish that the end was a bit more dramatic? but it definitely left me with lots of thoughts and feelings.
