took me wayyyy too long to finish this but that’s nothing to do with the book itself cause WOWWWW. rin has got to be one of the most interesting 3 dimensional characters i have ever read like EVER. i don’t agree with her most of the time but then again if i was in her shoes idk what i would do??? she is soooooo tragic and i gotta keep reading the series to see how further she digs herself in a hole….but yeah rf kuang did her big one!

okay i hate and love nina at the same time she is so incredibly FRUSTRATING but also SO REALLL. i also just love how they focused on her little found family in LA and lorna🥲🥲🥲. i enjoyed her personal growth and arc so much and the romance with ari was a nice addition and didn’t overpower anything. BEAUTIFUL WELL DONE

this wasn’t bad by any means but it wasn’t great either. i wish the author described their summer together more and just expanded the relationship in general… but other than that!

needed a good short book and this did the trick. i loved how toni explored the relationship between cee and frank. and i love how she gives every character their screen time and allows them to be fully developed. this was a great character driven book.
