Ahhhhh! Words are hard. This book was perfection! The characters, the world, the dialogue. Not only do you love the MCs but also the side characters which is so important in stories. The flow was perfect. It slow burned just enough and when you reached the end it was worth the wait. This is going to be an amazing series and I am dying to find out what happens next with Aradia and Soren. I loved the banter and watching them grow. Midas was also easily one of my favorite side characters!

This was a great read! If I didn’t have to do life I probably would’ve finished it in one sitting! The characters are well developed, the story gives you enough lore at just the right times without overwhelming you. It took me a while to catch onto one of the plot twists but the other was kind of obvious, that’s not a bad thing. I’m an instant forgetter of books after I read them but I know this one had some great quotes. Also, I would love for someone to call me Chaos as a term of endearment!

Wasn't for me doesn't mean it's not for you.
DNF at 30% and even that was hard. The pacing felt slow and getting so much of the main character’s thoughts felt unnecessary because a lot of it was just off hand comments about other characters or situations that didn’t seem to matter. I was already struggling to get through it but the second time I read “my bitch and my bike” I just lost all interest.

This was a fun little read. The story was felt a little scattered at times and some details could’ve been presented differently but overall it was good. I also wish we got to see more of the character growth rather than being told about it. It was paced well and I think I’m intrigued enough to pick up the next books eventually to get the rest of the story.
Personal pet peeve, epilogues in a book that is not a stand alone or last in a series and “the end” at the end of a book with a cliff hanger.
Thanks Faith for reaching out for a read and honest review.

First of all this book was perfectly marketed! It gave exactly what it said it was going to deliver, a morally grey Batman/Tony Stark-esque billionaire, spice, mystery, and intrigue. While the spice is definitely a front seat passenger I think the plot still drove the story in a way that made you want more. And the cliff hanger was just right to make you want to read the next book.

First of all, the vibes of this book were immaculate! Libby does an amazing job showing the Pagan faith for what it is and not what many people assume it to be.
The story focuses heavily on sisterhood and found family between strong women but will break your heart at the end!
I look forward to see how the series progresses.

DNF at 32%. I am making an exception in my normal star system and giving this two stars when normally a DNF for me would be one. I just found the pace to be slow and mundane. And the characters just all felt flat to me.
However, I can see the amount of research that went into the story to make it as connected to real life as possible and I can appreciate that.
Just because it wasn't for me doesn't mean it won't be for you.

Oh the story is picking up and getting good! This one was less spicy and more thriller-y? That’s not a word but it’s fine. Episode 1 was definitely more introductory but in this Episode we’re getting a lot more movement in the story. Things are starting to come to light and unravel. We’re still left with questions at the end making us want more so I can’t want to see what Episodes 3 and 4 give us!

This was my first psychological thriller and I’m oddly conflicted about how I feel about it. It was a good read. A little slow to start and occasionally in the middle. It also felt repetitive in a lot of places and nothing caught me by surprise like I expected the way a movie of the same genre would. I did enjoy Dorian’s writing though. I’m not 100% sold on the genre but I’m also not sure I want to turn away from it either. Maybe that’s the point.
I did read the synopsis for part 2 and think I will wait for a while just because a huge plot point is one of my icks in books but I do want to read it so I'm just going to mentally prepare for that before starting it.
Thanks Dorian for reaching out for a read and honest review.

Wtf did I just read? And I mean that in the best way possible. Novellas are great for in between your long reads and this was no exception.
I loved how nonchalant Vera is about the Goddess and her little comments.
Nikolai being both intimidating and a squishy cinnamon roll is a nice contrast to MMCs being one or the other.
Like the blurb says, this book is completely unhinged but in the best way possible!
