I fell in love with this book in the first few pages. The writing was beautiful, the themes were real, the characters were easy to love, the plot twist was twisty (and I can usually see the twist from a mile away)! Harper's ability to touch on such hard topics in a way that makes you feel it so fully is amazing and something I haven't seen from many authors and something that it appreciated by those who deal with these feeling every day of their lives.
