"Ultimately, I hope somebody has an experience watching the movie where all this stuff that swirls around it is interesting, and enhances it, and informs it. But hopefully the thing itself, the kind of movie it is, we’re aiming for something a bit more in the vein of a poem. That’s sort of our goal. A poetic meditation on something or other. There certainly isn’t a genre that we can put it in."

"Bats were more than symbols of fear. In Gotham, they had come to stand for hope and justice and a legend that was bigger than just one man. A hero who could be anyone."

"I wanted to give you proof. That I’d choose you over my The Syndicate. That you are my fate, mia filettatura, my thread. Ever since I saw you in that alley, I knew I was tied to you. And I’d like to remain that way, in every form possible.”

"I would have found her. In any lifetime, whether painful or effortless, fate would bring us together."

The potential is riiiiiight there, I swear. We just need a better execution, and by that I mean a better explanation of the main plot and little more development for the couples.

"This is it.
These three boys … they’re my undoing.
Not just now, but for the rest of my life.
Because I don’t think anything will ever be able to make me forget them.
Or that I’ll ever even want to."
