Did not finish book. Stopped at 5%.
I just couldn't get into it. I know it's historical non fiction and I only got one chapter in but it just wasn't capturing my interest like I thought it would. I don't think I'll be trying again and I'll be donating it to a Little Free Library where someone can love it more than I can.

I absolutely didn't expect to like this book as much as I did. The ending had me in tears. I'm not usually a middle grade fan but this was great.
