Beautifully written and haunting. I loved this book so much that I’m definitely going to be reading more of Jackson’s work.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This cozy mystery is perfect for an autumnal read. It's light, so you won't have to worry about overly heavy themes. I would say my one critique is that it doesn't offer anything groundbreaking that other cozies have yet to do. That said, I think if someone is just getting started in cozy mysteries this is a great one to kick off with.

I feel like I would have enjoyed this more if it delivered more on what it was described as. The murder plays so little into the story and the supernatural elements don’t feel well explained. I wanted to like this more than I did.

A little shaky at the end but overall a good read.
