the book's writing is lackluster and mediocre but then again, what can you expect from a contemporary romance book? all in all, not a bad book: it's very quick paced and is based off of a very common trope of fake dating in order to preserve a lie. I'd say read this if you're not looking to read anything of substance and or just looking for a quick read. The chapters are medium length, with some being about 20 pages long. Also, the only vocabulary that seem to have any effort to be advanced put into it were the scientific references, which don't make a ton of sense unless you're a stem major.

Love this book so much. It’s become one of my favorites. Anyone looking for philosophical fantasy, this is your book. Do look at the TWs first because this deals heavily with suicide and the meaning of life.
