*This book is part of a series and I have not read the first book.*

Two young children who are able to pilot a giant metal knight, go to a different city and meet other children who are able to pilot a different giant metal knight.

My library didn't list this book as part of a series so I didn't read the first book. This book is not a book that you can do that with. A lot of the characters and events don't make much sense. I was able to slightly piece it together from what I read but it wasn't a great experience.

Regardless of that, the art was amazing. The history and lore of the world were extremely interesting and I would love to learn more about that. I thought that the characters were a little shallow and seemed to change without much development.

Overall, a cute read but definitely read the first book first.

Jennette McCurdy shines a light on her life, her eating disorder, her family abuse, and her alcoholism.

This was such a heartbreaking story to read. It was interesting to, which is weird to say about a story about someone's life. It was interesting in the way that I had never heard about any of this prior to reading the book. I don't know if some of this information was available but it doesn't really matter. This story is about Jennette McCurdy's story and how she wants to tell it. Everyone should read this.

Mika Moon gets a strange message asking her to tutor three young witches. The interesting thing is that witches are not supposed to be together.

This book was so cute and cozy. It's definitely an adult cozy fantasy but I really liked it. The characters had a lot of depth. The character development felt like it could really happen. The children were adorable. The magic system was also really interesting. Overall, a really solid book!

This book is part of the Shadowhunter's universe.

I enjoyed this book much more than I enjoyed most of the books in the Mortal Instruments series. These characters are just so much more compelling to me and the time period was really interesting to read about. The plot of the story was also much more interesting than the Mortal Instruments. I honestly cannot wait to read the rest of the series.

When a young man promises his love a fallen star nothing could go wrong, right? Except for the fact that the star fell in Faerie, on the other side of the Wall.

I wish this book was longer!! The descriptions were so amazing. The characters were super compelling and felt like real people. The magic system was superb. I only wish that more of the main characters' adventure was described. I wanted to immerse myself in this world. If you love fantasy, definitely give this a read.

Imagine a mix of Heathers, Mean Girls, and werewolves and you get this book.

The world-building and story were super interesting and I would love to read more about it. I just thought that all of the characters fell flat. I really just didn't care about them at all. There was also a relationship that I didn't feel had any development, which I didn't like. I almost want to read more in this universe to understand more about the characters.

This book is all tell and no show. The narrator of the book tells us everything that the characters are doing without showing anything. I couldn’t get through the 500+ pages.
