It has nothing to do with the story itself or the writing. I just got bored after about the second chapter and decided to just finish the anime. There just isn't a desire to finish this series, though I loved the anime.

The greatest story of love and devotion I have ever read, I think. Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation is a half step or step below. After the first book, I DEVOURED the rest within a couple of weeks. I cannot recommend this series enough.
