relationship was cute, but honeslty that was all there was. I have no idea why the characters are the way they are, whey they feel things the way they feel. That's really important to me in books and since it wasn't there, i rated this 3.5 stars :)

"Miller simply shoots me a knowing smile over her shoulder all while doing a terrible job of making sure I don’t fall for her."

·˚ ༘₊· ͟͟͞͞꒰➳ summary
Caught Up is book #3 of the windy city series. It follows Kai, a grumpy baseball player who additionally to that is also a single dad to the 15 months old little boy Max. When he meets the free spirited, noncommittal chef Miller, the new nanny to Max, he is worried and scared, and if that wasn't enough, she also is the daughter of Kai's coach!
Their love is full of passion and longing, but will that be enough for Miller not to leave after the summer is over to continue her job after her 2 months break?

"I’ll fucking pretend. For her sake, I’ll keep it casual on the surface, and when she leaves at the end of the summer, I’ll wallow and bitch in private."

MILLER
Such a relatable character, I truly could feel her emotions throughout the entire book, and i just loved her! I love my girl Indy, but Miller is not too far behind her on my list🤭
I also love her relationship with every other person in this book I'm not going to lie, especially her and Kennedy and Isaiah!!
In a lot of ways, I could see myself in her, particularly with how she has the need to be the best at everything. Same girl.
I adore how she is this carefree, loving woman outside of her job, and I am fascinated by her creativity.

KAI
My goodness this man. I actually think he might be in my top five of my all time favourite book men, and believe me, that's very hard to achieve. This man is the absolute best brother, dad and boyfriend and the way he always takes all the responsibility broke me a lot. The way he just swallows everything, but still manages to not hate the people that have ripped him from a lot of freedom is truly astounding. The way he treats the people he loves has me on a chokehold, I wish men like him were real.

"-'Today was a good day.'
-'They could all be good days'"

·˚ ༘₊· ͟͟͞͞꒰➳ writing and plot
This book is my favourite one out of the whole windy city series (so far). I love the fact that even though I knew what was coming, I still bawled my eyes out. I really like the way Liz Tomforde writes her books, but especially the characters. She brings in every main and side character in such a natural way, which makes the story feel so much closer to your heart.
The plot was great as well, even though I usually don't really read stories with nanny x parent i truly adored this book and it's plot.
